Pre-Nursing

About the Program

Kentucky Wesleyan College offers a two-year Pre-Nursing Program for students seeking admission to the University of Louisville’s School of Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.) program.

In the beginning of their fourth semester at Kentucky Wesleyan, you will apply to the University of Louisville B.S.N. program housed at Owensboro Medical Health System. When you complete the OMHS program, you will be awarded a B.S.N. degree from the University of Louisville.

The two year Pre-Nursing program at Kentucky Wesleyan offers an attractive program option if you want to become a nurse, but would also like to participate in a traditional undergraduate college experience.

As a Pre-Nursing student, you can participate in Kentucky Wesleyan athletic programs, fraternities or sororities, clubs and other activities during your two years at Kentucky Wesleyan.
