Academic Honor Societies

Kentucky Wesleyan College has a long and storied history of fraternities and societies that are established to honor students who excel in a wide range of academic disciplines.

Alpha Chi National Honor Society

Alpha Chi is the most prestigious honor society at Kentucky Wesleyan for promoting and recognizing scholarship.

Alpha Phi Sigma National Honor Society

Alpha Phi Sigma is the National Criminal Justice Honor Society; students are recognized for excellence in the study of criminal justice.

James Graham Brown Society

Kentucky Wesleyan students on full academic scholarship are eligible for membership in the JGB Society. Members meet periodically to discuss common interests.

Order of Omega

As the National Greek Honor Society, Order of Omega honors the top 3% of Greeks on campus and nationally. Students are evaluated on the basis of scholarship, service, leadership and involvement. This organization was brought to Kentucky Wesleyan’s campus in 2008.

Psi Chi National Honor Society

This nationally sponsored organization honors Psychology majors and minors for high academic achievements.

Sigma Beta National Honor Society

Junior and senior students who have taken at least 15 hours of math and science courses and have achieved a minimum G.P.A. of 3.0 are eligible for membership in Sigma Beta.
